My wife and I run our own small business — so I know the sting of a message you couldn't answer in time. I built Sally so local shops stop losing bookings that way, and never pay commission to anyone.
Hi, I'm Rey. I run a small business too — my wife and I make and sell our own products, online and at farmers' markets around Auckland. So I'm not building this from the outside looking in. I built it from behind a stall.
If you've ever worked a market day, you'll know the feeling. A message pops up — someone keen to buy, or to book — right when you've got a queue in front of you and both hands full. You see it light up. You just can't get to it. And by the time you do, they've moved on. It's not that you didn't care. There was just no one free to reply.
It's the same story behind the chair. Salons, barbers, beauty therapists — you're hands-on all day. You can't stop mid-cut to tap out a reply. And you shouldn't have to pick between the client in the chair and the one trying to book.
The usual fix never sat right with me, though. The big booking platforms will catch those bookings for you — then take a commission on customers who were already yours. When you count every single sale at the end of a market day, that one stings.
So I built Sally instead: a front desk that answers straight away, day or night, pops people right into your calendar, and never takes a cut. Honestly, it's the thing I wish I'd had at my own stall.
Made by a small-business owner, for small-business owners. Every bit of it is there because a real shop needed it — and sometimes that shop was mine.

A client who books with you is yours. You keep 100% of every booking, always. Flat NZD pricing you can see up front — no clip of the ticket, no surprises.
Email me and a real person replies — usually me. No ticket queue in another timezone, no chatbot pretending to care.
Your client list is your business, not my product. I don't sell it, share it, or list your clients next to the shop down the road.
Hands in foils, clippers going, three people waiting. Sally is built for that reality — not for someone with a spare hour and a spreadsheet.
If we've met — at your shop, or maybe across a market stall somewhere — good to see you again. If not: hi, I'm the one who builds Suddenly Sorted, answers the emails, and runs the demos. No sales team, no call centre. What you see is what you get.
Got a question — or just want to check I'm a real person before you sign up? Email me straight at rey@suddenly.co.nz. I read every one.
And when you're ready, I'll help get you set up myself — your services, your hours, your prices — so Sally sounds like your shop from day one.
Free plan, no card needed. Or email rey@suddenly.co.nz and I'll set it up with you.
