Everything that controls how the widget looks lives in one place: Settings ▸ Business setup ▸ Business basics. Change anything, hit Save changes, and your widget updates everywhere it's embedded — no re-pasting code.
Upload your logo
Your logo shows in the chat header so customers know they're talking to you.
Open Business basics
Go to Settings ▸ Business setup and find the Logo field.
Upload an image
Click Upload an image and pick a square PNG, JPG or WebP (up to 2 MB). You'll see a preview straight away. Prefer a link? You can still paste a direct image URL instead.
Save
Hit Save changes. Leave the logo blank to use your business initial in a coloured circle.
Pick an avatar — every plan
The avatar is the face on your chat launcher and header, and the picker is on every plan:
- Icons — the default is the Suddenly slot-drop mark, and there's a set of around a dozen clean glyphs to choose from instead: booking calendar, chat bubbles, sparkles, a concierge bell and more.
- Your logo — use the logo you uploaded above as the avatar too, for a fully-you widget.
- Upload your own — any square PNG, JPG or WebP.
- Placement — show the avatar on the launcher button, the header, both, or hide it entirely.
Name your assistant Pro
Out of the box the assistant goes by a neutral "Assistant" in the chat header. On the Pro plan you can give it its own display name — up to 24 characters, whatever fits your brand. Pro also unlocks white-label: the "Powered by Suddenly Sorted" line in the widget footer is replaced with your own sign-off.
Want to change how the assistant talks, not just what it's called? See assistant tone & reply length.
Colour, welcome message & theme
- Accent colour — sets the widget's buttons and highlights. Paste a hex code or use the colour picker to match your brand.
- Welcome message — the first thing customers see when they open the chat, e.g. "Kia ora! 👋 How can I help you today?"
- Widget theme — Light, Dark, or Auto (follows each visitor's device setting).
