Where it lives
Your side of it is Settings›Booking page›Share your page. The card called How you appear on Google holds a ready-made link with ?src=google on the end and a Copy button. Google's side is your Business Profile: the panel you see when you search your own business name while signed in as the owner. You need a claimed and verified profile before Google will show a Book button.
Add your booking link
Copy the Google link
In Share your page, click Copy beside the
?src=googlelink. That tag is how we later show you which bookings Google sent.Open your Google Business Profile
Search your business name on Google while signed in as the owner, and choose Edit profile. Or go to business.google.com.
Paste it into the Booking field
Find Booking; Google sometimes labels it “Add a booking link”. If Google suggests a booking provider, choose Add your own and paste your link.
Save and check tomorrow
Google usually takes up to a day. Search your business on Google Maps and tap the button.
You'll see: a Book Online button on your listing that opens your Suddenly Sorted booking page.
What your customers see
- On Search and MapsBook Online, beside Call and Directions
- One tapOpens your booking page; Sally takes it from there
- No middlemanNo commission, no marketplace
- In your numbersTagged Google under Where your bookings came from
Bookings that arrive through the listing show as coming from Google, next to your website, Instagram and untagged links, so after a few weeks you can see how much business Google sends you. Your booking page already tells Google it's bookable behind the scenes, so once your profile is verified the button sometimes appears with no extra work.
What it won't do
Common questions
I can't find a Booking field on my profile
Google only shows it on verified profiles in eligible categories such as hair salon, barber or beauty salon. Check your primary category under Edit profile, and that verification has finished; that part can take a few days.
It's been a day and there's no button
Give it up to 48 hours, then check the link saved without a typo. If Google put a third-party provider there instead, remove it and choose Add your own.
Can I use the link without ?src=google?
Yes, the page works either way. You just won't see Google as a source in your numbers, so leave the tag on.
Still stuck on this?
Send us your business name as it appears on Google and a screenshot of the Booking field. We'll check the link with you.
