When you sign in you land on Home. It's not a wall of charts — it's a calm command centre that surfaces your day, the few things worth your attention, and an assistant you can just ask. Everything else runs in the background.
Today at a glance
The hero at the top greets you by name and shows the shape of your day — your next appointment with a countdown, the rest of today's list, and whether anything's still waiting to be confirmed. If today's empty, it turns that into a nudge to share your booking link. One glance and you know where you stand.
What to do today
Below the hero is a short, ranked list of the things that genuinely need a human — never busywork. Each row tells you what it is, how many, and takes you straight to it:
- Approve suggested messages — warm follow-ups Sally drafted, one tap to review and send.
- Confirm pending bookings — jumps you to exactly the bookings waiting on your OK, already filtered.
- Regulars due to rebook — the clients who've hit their usual rhythm, ready for a gentle "time for your next visit".
When there's nothing outstanding, it simply says you're all caught up. The point is that you never have to go hunting — the work comes to you, in priority order.
Ask Sally anything
The assistant bubble in the corner is Sally — ask her plain-English questions about your own business and get an instant answer from your real data: "How many bookings this week?", "Who hasn't been in for a while?", "Any no-shows coming up?". She can also draft a message for you to copy — she never sends anything herself. Prefer it out of the way? Minimise her to the side and she'll pop back when she has something worth saying.
This week's numbers — including after hours
A compact set of this-week figures sits alongside, so you can see momentum at a glance. The one owners love most: bookings captured after hours — the appointments Sally booked while you were closed, asleep, or with a client. That's the quiet proof it's earning its keep.
Working from your phone
Home is built for the pocket too. On mobile the same hero, action list and assistant stack into a single scrollable column with a bottom tab bar, so you can clear your morning list between clients without opening a laptop.
Booking alerts on your phone
You can have Suddenly buzz your phone when something happens, so you're not refreshing the dashboard between clients.
When it's available you'll see a "Booking alerts on this device" banner with a Turn on button — we never ask for notification permission uninvited. You can also manage it any time under Settings ▸ Notifications.
What you'll be told about
- New bookings — including group bookings.
- Callbacks and enquiries — someone left their details.
- Cancellations — so you can fill the gap.
- Your morning summary — how many appointments you've got today, at 7am. Nothing is sent on a day with no bookings.
All four are on to start with; switch off any you don't want. Alerts are per device — turn it on for your phone and your laptop separately, and you'll see both listed under Notifications with the option to remove one.
