Your team — staff logins & roles

Give your staff their own login to manage bookings, while you stay in control of billing and branding.

You don't have to share one password. Invite each team member by email and they get their own secure sign-in — with access to the day-to-day, but not your billing or settings.

Invite a team member

Open Team

Go to Settings ▸ Team logins. You'll see how many logins you've used and how many your plan includes.

Enter their email

Type your staff member's email (and optionally their first name) and click Send invite.

They accept & sign in

They get an email invite. When they click it and enter their email, we send a one-time code — no password to create or remember.

What team members can & can't do

Staff logins are scoped so your team can run the day without touching anything sensitive.

Choose which services each team member does

Not everyone does everything. You can tell Suddenly Sorted exactly which services each person performs, so a customer can never book someone for a treatment they don't do — and availability only ever shows staff who can actually do the job.

Open a team member

In Settings ▸ Staff & services, open the person you want to set up.

Turn off “Does all services”

Every staff member starts with Does all services switched on. Switch it off to pick their skills.

Tap the services they do

A set of service chips appears — tap each one this person performs. Tap again to remove. That's it; it saves with the rest of their details.

Why it matters Both the chat assistant and your booking page now enforce this. If a service is only done by certain staff, the assistant won't offer anyone else for it, and the booking page won't show times for staff who don't do that service — so no more “booked the wrong stylist for a treatment they don't do”.

Leave Does all services on for anyone who genuinely does everything (for example a sole operator, or a senior stylist) — you only need to set skills for the people who specialise.

Photos & bios

Each staff member can have a photo and a short bio (set them in Staff & services). They show on your booking page, so customers see the real people behind the booking — a small thing that noticeably lifts trust for new customers.

Roles & promoting an owner

Logins come in two roles: owner and team member. Owners see everything (billing, integrations, settings); team members get the day-to-day scope in the table above. You can promote a team member to owner — or step an owner back down — from the Team logins page. The only rule: there must always be at least one owner, so you can't demote the last one.

Someone off sick? You can mark a staff member out for the day from the calendar, and their bookings can be reassigned or cancelled in one pass.

How many logins do I get?

If you're on Growth and try to invite a sixth person, you'll be prompted to upgrade. See Billing & plans for the full breakdown.

Remove someone's access

People leave — removing them is instant. On the Team logins page, find the person and choose Remove. Their login stops working immediately and the seat frees up for someone else.

Security Removing a team member takes effect right away, even if they're currently signed in — their next action is blocked and they're logged out. Always remove access the moment someone leaves.
