Self-serve reschedule & cancel

Let customers move or cancel their own bookings from a link — fewer phone calls for you, and a tidier calendar.

Every confirmation email includes a Manage booking link. Customers use it to reschedule or cancel themselves — no calling during your busiest hour — and your calendar updates automatically.

How it works for your customer

They open the link

From their confirmation email, the customer taps Manage booking and sees their appointment details.

They reschedule or cancel

To move it, they pick a new time from the slots you actually have free. To cancel, they confirm — the slot reopens for someone else and is offered to your waitlist automatically. If they'd paid a deposit and cancelled inside your notice window, it's refunded automatically too.

Everyone's kept in sync

The change lands on your calendar instantly, the customer gets an updated confirmation, and (if connected) your Google Calendar updates too.

One secure link to all their bookings

Every confirmation email also includes a See all your bookings link. It opens a secure page that lists every booking that customer has with you — past and upcoming — in one place, where they can reschedule, cancel, or book again.

No password, no account

There's nothing for your customer to sign up for or remember. They tap the link in their email and they're straight in — the simplest experience possible.

Sent only to the contact on file

The link goes solely to the email address attached to the booking, and it can't be guessed or shared into someone else's account. Only the person who made the booking can open their list.

Reschedule, cancel, or rebook

From the list they can move or cancel an upcoming visit, or rebook a service they've had before — all without phoning you.

Fewer phone calls Because customers can see and manage everything themselves, the steady trickle of "can I move my appointment?" calls drops away — and changes still land straight on your calendar.

The cutoff window still applies

Self-serve changes respect the cancellation and reschedule cutoff you set. If a customer tries to change a booking that's too close to the appointment, the page tells them it's too late to change online and asks them to call you — so a last-minute switch never catches you off guard. You set this window in Services & rules.

What stays in your control

Why it helps A customer who can reschedule in 20 seconds is far more likely to do that than to no-show. Self-serve changes mean fewer empty chairs and fewer "sorry I forgot" texts.

Prefer to handle changes yourself?

You can always reschedule or cancel on a customer's behalf from the calendar (drag to a new time) or the Bookings page — handy when someone phones or messages you directly.
