How Suddenly Sorted works

One chat bubble on your website does the whole job of a receptionist, answering questions, taking bookings around the clock, and keeping your calendar full. Here's the entire flow, start to finish.

You don't rebuild your website or learn new software. You paste one line of code on your own site, or share your hosted booking-page link, and your AI assistant Sally takes it from there. No website at all? We build you a bookable page from your Google listing. This is what happens behind every booking.

The whole loop on autopilot: an enquiry comes in, Sally books it, reminders go out, they visit — then a review and a rebooking nudge start it over.

Step 1

A customer lands on your website or booking page

Late at night, on their lunch break, scrolling on the couch, whenever. A friendly chat bubble sits in the corner of your existing site. No site of your own? We build you a free bookable page from your Google Business listing, so customers can find and book you either way.

Works with or without a website
Step 2

They tap the bubble and chat to Sally

"Do you have anything Saturday?" "How much for a cut and colour?" Sally answers in your business's own words, prices, services, hours, and guides them toward booking.

24/7, even when you're closed
Step 3

Sally books them in, for real

She offers only the times you actually work, takes their name and contact details, and locks in the appointment. No double-bookings, no back-and-forth phone tag. On higher-value services you can ask for a small refundable deposit (paid via Stripe, straight to you, no commission) or a no-payment confirm-to-hold that books the slot, then auto-releases it if they don't confirm in time.

Real availability · deposits or confirm-to-hold
Step 4

It lands in your dashboard & calendar

The booking appears instantly in your Suddenly Sorted calendar, and syncs two ways with Google Calendar if you've connected it, so your whole schedule lives in one place.

Optional 2-way Google Calendar sync
Step 5

Confirmations & reminders go out automatically

The customer gets an instant "you're booked" confirmation, then a reminder before their appointment, so they show up. Fewer no-shows, zero admin from you.

Cuts no-shows on autopilot
Step 6

After the visit, you ask for a review

Once they've been in, Sally can send a friendly nudge for a Google review, turning a happy client into the thing that brings the next one through your door.

More 5-star reviews, hands-free
Step 7

Sally keeps your calendar full

Behind the scenes she finds regulars due for their next visit and offers them their usual, so they come back without you chasing. And when someone cancels, she auto-fills the freed slot from your waitlist, so a gap turns straight back into a booking.

Rebooking nudges · waitlist auto-fill

…and the next customer who lands on your site starts the loop again, while you're with a client, or asleep.

What you actually have to do

Once: sign up and build your setup from your Google listing (services, prices and hours), or enter them by hand.
Once: paste one line of code on your own site, or just share your hosted booking-page link.
Then: glance at your bookings. That's it.
No website? No problem. Every business gets a free hosted booking page (yoursalon.suddenly.co.nz), built from your Google Business listing, that you can share on Instagram, Facebook or Google, so you can take online bookings even without a site of your own. See your free website.

What customers can do when they book

Your booking page handles real-world appointments, not just the simple one-service case:

Already booked? After booking, every customer gets a Manage booking link to reschedule or cancel themselves, see self-serve reschedule & cancel.
